Art - creativity promotion at a distance

Subproject II.5 addresses methods of "promoting creativity at a distance", which are systematically evaluated and conceptually recorded, using the example of art science and fine arts. The research is directed towards the basic question of how creativity can be promoted digitally and at a distance in (art pedagogical) university teaching. Using qualitative empirical methods, the challenges and success factors of promoting creativity at a distance are explored. Furthermore, methods will be developed to realize possibilities of promoting artistic and creative thinking and acting that can be transferred to other contexts.

The subproject belongs to the innovation cluster II: Prototype (further) development. In this cluster, individual teaching and examination formats, as well as measures to promote creativity during studies, are evaluated and (further) developed as prototypes.

All subprojects exemplify the different subjects and areas of the study program and apply the transfer of the results project-immanently, i.e., each subproject works on the acquired knowledge in such a way that it can be used by concrete partners in and outside the university. A reference back to the overall project is always taken into account. To this end, structures are developed or created that systematically enable and promote an intensive exchange.
